ACCURACY ASSESSMENT ANALYSIS OF MAPBIOMAS' LAND COVER AND LAND USE MAPPING

Accuracy analysis is the main way of assessing the quality of the mapping carried out by MapBiomas. In addition to saying what the overall hit rate is, the accuracy analysis also reveals estimates of the hit and error rates for each mapped class.

El análisis de exactitud de la Colección 1 de Mapbiomas Uruguay corresponde al de la Colección 3 de MapBiomas Pampa. El mismo se encuentra en desarrollo;por el momento hemos evaluado los mapas en 3 momentos, 1986, 2001 y 2018. Los resultados de esta evaluación pueden verse en la sección “Validation strategies” del documento de ATDB (página 24)
