Within the logic proposed by MapBiomas, the maps will be updated every time there is an improvement in the classification algorithms. The classification methodology is dynamic and procedural, with the purpose of improving the classification of each typology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Important:<\/strong> when composing a single mosaic or calculating statistics on maps it should be noted that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>For area calculation, it is necessary to use an appropriate metric projection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All data is in GeoTiff format and has LZW compression.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Access options to the most current MapBiomas collection:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Access the data <em>asset<\/em> in <em>Google Earth Engine<\/em>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>ID: <\/em>projects\/mapbiomas-public\/assets\/uruguay\/lulc\/collection3\/mapbiomas_uruguay_collection3_coverage_v1<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Download by state, biome, municipality and any other desired geometry using <a href=\"https:\/\/code.earthengine.google.com\/?accept_repo=users%2Fmapbiomas%2Fuser-toolkit&amp;scriptPath=users%2Fmapbiomas%2Fuser-toolkit%3Amapbiomas-user-toolkit-lulc.js\">Toolkits<\/a> prepared in Google Earth Engine (GEE).
